Need help. Immo off for golf 4 TDI 90 - ALH diesel motor

Hi all,

My golf 4 is in my garage and don't want to start anymore... the engine runs for 2s and then stop. Looks like there is a problem with the immo sys, I would like to turn it off.

If I understand well I need to download from the car datas located in a chip in the ECU, modify them, then upload them back.

I have a few questions...

which interface I need to do it?
Then which datas shall I download and modify??

Hi, if your ecu number is 038906012.., or 019.. try immo off by vag k+can commander 1.4 or higher if not read eeprom 24c02 or 24c04 from ecu by programmer and put here.

Hi, I've checked the ref of the ECU, it's a bosch 038 906 012 FA - Diesel EDC15VM+ => I'll order a vag k+can commander to immo off. I'll send the eeprom here once downloaded.

You don't have to upload here eeprom, just read it an then push 'immo off 'button and that's all.

I've ordered it yesterday, and it's been sent today from UK it has to cross the channel before I can do the immo OFF. Hope the car will be back on the road next week! :)
