does anyone know how to unlock the SGH-i616? I can't seem to find useful info about it. I don't know if I should give you more info about the phone, you tell me, I'd really appreciate it.

The I616 is a Windows Mobile handset & as such is a right pain in the ass to unlock. There will be no free unlocking for this handset.

Your choices are....

Take it to a shop & make sure they can do this phone on-site.

Or look on-line for a trusted site that can supply the network lock code (also known as the subsidy code) & not just 'unlocking codes'.
