I have issue that the fuel not been allowed to pass the ve-pump.

My motor has been blown last week.
it was wjz motor with bosch ve pump.

I buyed and already installed the an new engine wjz with lucas fuel pump attached to it.
but i have no start.
(i can run it with starting fluid until i stop spraying :) )

I did a test to the selenoid valve and is clicking and working.
but no fuel is going to the injector .
Injector has opened about 1 turn to see if the fuel moving there and nothing at all.

I thing the new pump need to be coded or to swap some part from the old pump to the new one
But im not sure.

New fuel pump is Lucas VE R8445B350B.
I have lexia with the adptor and my car is recordniseble and no fault seems to be listed there ,
Its citroen berlingo m49 1.9d (wjz)

thanks for helping me forward

You need to swap immo box and transponder chip from donors car too.
Or if possible to swap coded solenoid valve from old pump to new one.

Easy is to broke housing of solenoid valve, remove electronic part of immobiliser on it and connect valve to 12V after ignition.

Thanks
I will choose to cut with a disk the housing of the solenoid valve.
And swap with my old valve from my old bosch pump.

Most of the workshop did it and advice this also.

Thanks anybody for the help.

Hi,
I opened the selenoid valve housing by cutting it and did a litle tweazing ...
But the selenoid seems to be in a other version that i could be found , eather the part number.

It has 3 wires that are immobilized.
Also has a different tapping size from normal.

attached pictures of it

Does someone has aftermarket par like it ?
I need it with 1 connector at the top and then just to attached possitive wire to it
From the swith (I already have it fitting my car long time ago).

Last information is the engine probably removed from pevgeot 306 1.9 diesel WJZ with that
lucap fuel pump R8445B350B.
