I'm in need of some help on this module. I tried resetting it, but I get internal failure with one attempt and no communication with another clear file. Light stays on. Can anyone double check my clear? Thanks.

I dropped one once and never could get rid of internal failure code. But if you clear wrong line of code you will also get this code..
I'd take a look at how everyone else is clearing but they are password protected. Hard to compare files on my android, I can help you later when I get my hands on my laptop

I never dropped the module, I just hope the customer didn't either. Here are the attempted clear files. Please take a look. Thanks for your help.

Your first attempt that gave you the internal failure code is how i always clear these. However when I compare a known good file of mine to yours, aside from some configuration data, it looks like your dump has 2-3 corrupt bytes. Try to write my file to your module and see if the internal failure code goes away. If not, write your original crash file back and see if you still have internal.
These are such a pain in the ass to remove and install, ive been there. On my first one of these i was having the same issue and kept going in and out with the module, so i just left the case off to speed up testing and ended up scraping a couple transistors off the bottom of the board on one of the bolt studs. That also gave a internal failure code.

So now Im getting code "device is not configured" code. Any way to get rid of it? I dont have scan tools to code the module. Maybe something in file?

Actually I figured it out. Found the corrupt parts and compared with my other good files. Light went off! Thanks a lot for your help! But its interesting why the bytes were corrupt. I just had another same sonata module right after and everything was fine from first try..

Good news! I dont know what would cause those bytes to corrupt, I have done many of these modules and never saw that before. Did it read and verify like that?

Yes it read like that and there was no problems with verifying. Man that car was a huge headache. I spent so much time on it! Thanks for your help!
