ford escord immo off EEC IV

Hi all. I need to make immo of onford escort 98year petrol 1,6 16V with ecu EEC-IV 96AB 12A650 KB. ImmoUniversalDecoder say that remove the tms and unite pin 4 and 13. Is this procedure work?
