hello, passat 2.0tdi 125kw dead on highway. As all forums and people says its injector shorted to ground. but its not. shows two fault codes :
P2146/008518 - Supply Voltage for Fuel Injector Group A: Open Circuit - 009 - Open or Short to Ground
P1517/005399: Power Supply Relay for ECU (J271 or J363): Electrical Malfunction

checked injectors for shot to ground.
checked injector wiring from ecu to injector.
all injectors has 200k resistance.
ecu relay works.
All fuses good.
ecu feeding ok.
tried to disconnect one by one injector and tried to start.

maybe someone has another thoughts? becouse i dont know. maybe ecu died?

Injector are damage or wiring from injector are short to ground,are a common problem with wiring ,check wiring after from injector after that round plug !

I have read your topic! but check again wiring for injectors near alternator and oil drain,i have found wiring damage for more than 3 passat cars !

Have same prob touran. Always fault for injector 2 and fault for the power relay. If you happy with the wires and the injectors is the ecu , as i just replaced one for that touran.
