Update Flash Via Vag Can Pro

Dear friend
I have bought Vag Can Pro , I tried to d update flash for Skoda Pcr 2.1 Automatic transmission, I need to update ecu flash to change it from A\T to Manual
ecu :
HW : 03L906023 JH
SW: 03L 906 023LR 9972
I need to update it to 03L 906 023 LP ( manual )
I have update flash for VAS and ODIS , same flashe required, I tried to update flash with 03L 906 023LP but car didnt start , then I rewrite original flash via Fgaletto then car start,
my update flash extention with ( frf ) , have any one any Idea to solve this problem ? any one have exact update flash required ?

Did u unlock eeprom before writing flash? U need to unlock before u can write flash

Yes I did cause after car didnt start I rewrite original LR file and car start, if I didnt unlocked it before that ori file will not be written and car start

Wrong if you don't unlock ecu and write non original file car don't start if u put original file back in it starts. If u unlocked the ecu by opening it up it should work

don`t need unlock eeprom when you need update flash by VCP or AVDI.
i reprogram many time pcr2.1 and never open ECU.

if you write another flash (another kW or transmission) you have another PowerClass - need read it after update and change in immo (dashboard).

Is it possible to flash a lower SW on ECU with VCP? I have a Golf 6 with Simos PCR 2.1 03L 906 023 HM with SW 9971. Can I flash 9970 or lower or only newer SW?
Does anybody know that?

With whatever you have :) VagCanPro flashes FRF / SGO / ODX just like VAS and the SGO flash function is enabled by default on all VCP.
