Engine code 1.9dt. Non runner. No fault codes stored.low pressure fuel pump working, but no fuel to injectors. Live data at common rail fuel pressure 3148 mpa. 0.51v. Desired 0.65mpa. When sensor unplugged 40.00mpa. 4.98v. On cranking when plugged in values stay the same.
Fuel metering valve pwm, 0%, current 0%. On cranking value 45%, current 1.3%. Also live data for rail pressure control solenoid valve 0%,all the time even cranking. Cannot find this valve on engine. There is a valve on rail, and a valve on back of pump.
can anyone help, car turns over but will not run. No fuel coming from high pressure pump to injectors, engine ecu has been checked and confirmed as ok. Thanks

Did you check rpm when cranking? Maybe faulty crankshaft sensor

All that pump does is supply the fuel does it not? No electronics involved? A new pump sounds in order if that's the case?

still working on this vehicle, as I say with fuel pressure sensor unplugged gives 5v in live data.when sensor is plugged in sensor voltage goes to 0.51 v. is this correct thansk

The 3 wires that go to frp sensor is 5v ref- 0.5 signal- earth. Plugged in. Ignition on. It seems you are losing the 5v ref. So With your dmm attatched, start to unplug other components on the 5v line. One may be dragging it down. Start with air flow, or cam, crank sensor etc. Last one i did, it was the vss on gearbox.
