are you sure you do procedure properly? they are really touchy and vary depending on model...
if you are sure, check sensor for proper operation, any fault code related to wss will prevent adaption to work.

Same thing happened to me, My solution was to connect the connector perfect dashboard

Try to disconnect battery reconnect and then turn steering full lock to full lock then back to centre and drive forward 20 metres
