hyster hypass parts system for hyster forklift trucks.
service manuals do not seem to work have tried to get them working but I have been unsuccesfull however all the parts manuals work fine.

Well I have a problem. When I install this software and try to run it, it says:
An error has occured in module in the routine PASSWORD.FRM, Form_Load.
Error message:

Out of memory.

Execution will now continue. Please call (770) 650 5793.

What to do ?

Take it you have more than 1gb of ram?
Hypass was designed to run on older systems which had a maximum ram of 768mb. If you have more than this it thinks that you don't have enough ram to run it.
to get around it you can edit your boot.ini to include a maxmem switch of 768mb

Test this one for using XP, replace your old boot.ini (save it!!!!)

And choose the 768MB line.

they both say extactly the same thing on boot up i just have to remember to select the bottom one :D

I tried through in XP_hyster ect... but it came up with a DLL error so i changed it.

the program is running ok execpt that i can't see any pictures the upper part of the window seems to keep anything that goes over it i.e this window will be stuck as the picture in the upper part.

Any ideas ? ?

I think it is now something to do with the setup because when running the setup it isn't transefering the picture files on to the hard drive with the program ...... will keep you all posted if i manage to resolve the problem. :D

Unless someone knows something i don't then please put me out of my misery :P

Good Day all

We had a problem with Hypass not showing the pictures & the only way we could make it work was uninstall Hypass . download Imaging for windows standard v2.6 ( there is probably a newer version by now) , run the imaging software, then change pc date to 2009, & reinstall Hypass. Remember to change date to 2009 before running Hypass each time.
Worth a try, it worked for us

Having the same problem as others with the maxmem thing, but I'm running on Windows 7. Is there a fix for that? I'm running compatibility mode for Win98, but getting the same error.

Explanation:
Win98 and 95 permit direct access to Ports and Register of the hardware, to that are written accordingly the software. Win xp and Windows7 permits this not, also not in Win98 to mode. There must one cheat use that it works. To one these cheat is it, this inquire from the program to reroute

please forgive my ignorance. Once we have solved it i would be more than happy to write a step by step guide.

To everyone else that has helped i thank you all too.

It had taken me a week or so to get back onto this problem because a recently lost the hard drive on the laptop and had to replace it. A week worth of looking around at laptops and then deciding it better to just install a new hard drive :D So i only re-installed hypass yesterday.

So i give thanks where it is due :D

It's almost a year ago, when I wrote that!
By the way: It works with Windows' own tools and transmit, without installing anything on!
At that time it was easier for me to install win98, and then the software (15 -30 minutes)
So no reason to explore .......again
The result is one, the way is only important to achieve the target!
