How to renew 722.8 CVT FCVT

Hi, i have to renew a used A-Class automatic ecu
A1693700506 CVT FCVT UNIT
How to do this?

This is for 722.9 but should be same procedure.

are you sure?... avdi manual say nothing from 722.8

Only sure thing is STAR diagnosis online.....everything else is try and hit/miss.....

my star diagnose has onlineconnection... but i think i have to make it virgin first

why make virgin ? for this you only need to transfer SCN coding nothing more. No key hashes in this TCU, this is not 7G tronic

ok thanx... the unit is not here in my shop and a other garage was asking me to make it virgin.
so i will tell them it is not needed.

But you need to make SCN coding, it wot work properly without it

I have one 722.8 which is faulty and I cant communicate with it by diagnostic to extract SCN coding. If I buy new one is it possible match it without car then send it to the owner of car?
