Hello,

I am from Sarajevo (Bosnia), and drive Pug 307, 2.0 hdi, 110ks. Found this forum in a quest for removing dpf and cat.
I removed cat/dpf as they are in one peace (no change to ECU), and put another universal cat back on (also put back on two sensor - located before and after cat/dpf unit).
Do not have any fault codes (at least not on on lcd display), but fuel economy is catastrophic, 14L /100 km (80% percent more then before removal). More confusing is that lcd display shows 5.8L/100km (avg speed 28km/h), but when I fill diesel to the cup and calculate, 14L, I get shocked ! :(
Is this software related, anyone had similar experience...

maybe car trying regen, ?
or is it type with additive for regen ?
you need to read cars for DTC and reset DPF
then see if mpg better.

i mean error codes, from ecu, as car is now,
you need to get ecu read, and have DPF eddited from ecu ,
then rewrite and car should be fine,,,,

No problem with car power, just fuel economy. Cat is not the same, bought cheap one for 30EUR.
