Iveco Daily 2.3 2007 tacho off

Hello! I would like to remove the tacho from the vehicle, but Without the tacho and connected the yellow plug illuminates the letter T and the motor is screwed to 2500 rpm. Is it possible to modify the EEPROM dash or bcm to change the configuration without using a service tester?
