Not a specific program, I know I can do that under compatability. I need to run a program via the CMD and it won't let me do it on Vista, I need to have XP. I don't want to download XP and install it as I'll lose everything on my hard drive so I just want my Vista to think it's XP. Is this possible?

Cheers

if the program you want to use doesnt connect to any external hardware why dont you use vmVare and install XP as virtual pc , copy the program to virtual XP and run it there. Easy does it.

create a partition on your hdd and install xp on it. or create a bootable disc for the program

What do you need to run under cmd?

if its dos mode then just install dosbox or simmilar, if its NT mode it should run without a hickup.

I need to get the activation code for a Tom Tom map. I need to run a keygen from the command prompt but it wont let me do it.
