AUDI A6 fuel gauge help

Digiprog 3:
A6 OBD told me it was m73 D09.
A6 M73 OBD resulted in 999999 checksum error.
A3 999999 repair fixed that but now fuel gauge appears dead. vcds shows no errors and the calibration program (03) works but fuel gauge not moving.

Any help? Need to start all over with digi? Reset dash somehow? left dash unplugged over night.

LOL at closer inspection i noticed needle moving at power up. like 1/10 of a mm. figured out i must have squeezed it between trim and pcb when i assembled the cluster.
took the needle off, powered dash and when all dials where calibrated i put it back in the right position. now works like a charm! i think i tgot stuck and got out of area when calibrating causing it to appear dead.
