well just to recap on whats happening...

im trying to read my EDC16U34 ecu which i already know has been remapped, i know this because ive still got the receipt for it

well i tried to read it with mpps via the obd which looked as it worked as it came up with all the ecu details and vin number, but after reading the file to 100% it said "this is a no read ecu and has been encrypted" and after trying to view the file with WINOLS and ECM titanium it wouldnt read anything decent, plus in the small window to the side it clearly says "no read ecu" tag

i was advised to do a BDM read straight off the ecu, so ive listened and folked out for a BDM 100 and stand to read it...... well it looks like it read better as the file is 5000mb instead of just the 54mb from the MPPS read, which all looked promising.....

straight away ive tried to loaded it into WINOLS but it came up with "this software version cannot be prossed since its already modified" oh for god sake...
385999

i also noticed while reading the ecu with BDM it came up with "EDC16 encryption enabled"........ i wasnt sure which chip i had to read from so i read the full ecu, the external flash, and the eeprom flash just to make sure i got the correct one

386001

ive noticed if i open the file in winhex, i dont see the "no read ecu" tag in it.... is that just something MPPS adds after reading the file????

is there anyway i can open the file ive read off my ecu and play around with it, or is it that encrypted its never going to be readable???? i hope you clever bunch can help me out

here is main ecu file i read
