bmw e92 ISTA-p4* downgrade ??

bmw 135i 2008.

My bmw multitool is upgraded to lastest version 7.7 and i have chinese fvdi for bmw. both tools say i require downgrade of flash ISTAP-4 takes 30min or so. this allows me access to keys. has anyone downgraded the flash successfully with these tools ? can anyone share some light on how to add keys without removing cas and ecu ? the customer requires a spare key and does not want to remove modules.

if you don't want to remove cas just do it by obd.

Hi there

Done them with BMW Multitool / VVDI2. Works perfect. Don't use FVDI because that's going to cause problems on that CAS. The Multitool works them nicely. Yes make sure your car battery is strong and if possible have a charger connected just in case and also your laptop battery and charger.
