KWP 2000+ wiring

Hello,

First time use of KWP 2000+ flasher on the bench...

Can somebody explain about the banana cable that is used for BOOT mode please. The Red + and Black - are output 12V from KWP2000+ unit to ECU or input from power supply 12V to the KWP2000 Unit?
I can not find this info anywhere ... :(

Mate, throw this old and full of bugs ~~~~ away and buy something more up to date... Fg54, Kess & GayTag...
