Hey Guys,
I wanted to buy an OpenBox off eBay but I have recently found out you need a satellite dish to connect.
I'm currently running of Virgin Media, would anyone be able to recommend me a similar box that will be capable running of how I run my virgin media?
Thanks! :stung:

If you have Vigin media ie an active cable TV feed then a good budget box is a Zgemma H2h

Thanks Martin, do you have any more boxes that would be compatible? The OpenBox was around ?50, the ZGemma is starting from ?150.

150 for 2 maybe. H2h should be 75 to 80 quid

If you can live with a slight delay in some of the menu options (scrolling through the epg for example), then a cheaper alternative is the Zgemma star H2 for around ?65.
Both the H2 & H.2H are twin tuner boxes (sat & cable). You can disable the sat tuner & just use the cable part. Unfortunately, this means that you can't record one channel while watching another.
It's a pity Zgemma don't do a twin cable box.
