Mazda 6 Speedo Change

Hi

I've got Mazda 6 Petrol 2.0 GH 2008 and bought myself a speedo from Mazda 6 2.5 petrol. I would want to change the mileage to my original + change immobiliser data and disable ASF light/data on that speed from 2.5, please :biggrin:

My milage now is 91419miles

and how would you like that cooked? I would grab both units and start playing with bytes. The mileage im sure somebody will do here for sure. :stung:

Well, you think I need to edit bin file in hex edit only? Both files from both speedos are in the mazda6.rar file, I thought that there is some sort of software to edit it because doing it manually sounds a bit hardcore :)

Its the way ive had to learn unfortunately and believe me after a day of doing it, its very hard to just give that information away. I'm not saying I have the solution for this situation. Good luck bud!

Well, I've done the mileage myself. Immobiliser I understand I am able to reprogram with 2 keys - if that is correct there will be only that ASF to disable, I hope somebody will help me. Thank you neospeedo - I do understand what you are saying but some guidance would be helpful. If anybody got a bin from 2.5 petrol speedo please let me know :) I'll try to compare them

Update: I've done it, all myself - nobody helped here unfortunately. Anyway - got speedo from 2.5 with beatiful blue+red LED lights. :chuncky:
