Hello. Im trying to read 1998 Passat 1.9Tdi 81KW AFN with mpps. I tried via obd, but get error "try to remove fuse 11" and then nothing happens.
Then I tried to read it on table. I got all ecu IDs, software numbers ect. but then again, "try to remove fuse 11" and error.
Is there any specific pinout or I need to solder new chips?

Ok, so I need to desolder them both, read it with programmer. Then tune that two files, and write to new 29f010 chips and then solder in?

thats correct :-)
but you must compare the two files to one for tuning left is high data right low data . After tuning export to two files
this is the compared file :-)

Not really understood you, sorry :D
So in that 2 chips there is same information right? And after tuning, that 2 new chips must have same information?

No compare but merge to one dump, then mod and split to two dumps

I cannot desolder and read them, cose I dont have skills and tools.
So maybe I can take this to electronics service and ask them to desolder that 2 chips and read infos from them? Then get tuned files, and after all, ask them again to write this file to new chips right?
Sorry for my unknowledge ;D

Hello all. My car is Audi A6 C5 with AFN engine and ECU 038906018DG and I'm aware that I have to do some soldering but I would like if someone could tell me if I desolder original chips from board and solder back plcc32 socket and than put back those original chips in sockets will my car still work same like nothing happened until I get some tuned chips ?
Thx
