Thanks bolonic for your response, unfortunately that did not work. I was holding off on replying until I got the correct number from Nissan, this happened this evening and worked straight away. I understand from the X431 instructions that the 5523 code only works on fixed code type immobilizers, thanks anyway.

Hi people.the 5523 only works on older cars that have an (A) in the label.anything else has to be calc via icc software or any other software that can calc it.The SUPERCODE can only calc the newer systems which works with a 5 digit serial no or rather BCM NO..Hope this helps for the guys who dont know.As far as the chips for these cars are concerned the earlier models up to 2000 uses id 33 2000 to 2002 id 41 2002 to 2005 id 4d 60 and the newer ones id 46.

Let's see if we can clear this up.

There are 4 systems in operation in Nissans:

1: 4 digit pin via Old Supercode.
This is a 5 digit hex serial number obtained from the BCM. Find the BCM, look at the sticker. Somewhere there is a 5 digit number. It will usually be called "lot" number sometimes other stuff. That's why you look at the example stickers.
This covers SOME models up to 2009.

2: 4 digit via New SuperCode.
After 2009 there is a new conversion required which nobody has yet. You can get the new pins via ICC or Keyless ride or any number of other code brokers. You need the 5 digit BCM and/or the VIN depending on who you are dealing with.
This covers MOST models after 2009.

3. 4 digit pin via MillenniumCode.
Some models use a different system. There is a 6 digit Date code and a 4 digit Encrypted pin found on the aerial sticker or on the SEC unit. You take 4 digits from the date code (1st 4 or middle 4) and the encrypted pin and you put them together and work out the pin from there.
There are several programs which will do this for you, of which I use NATSCode - because they are the cheapest!
This covers MANY models found in Europe and Australia and I think Sth America.

4. 12 digit pin via EEprom
This system is only found on some Micras and Notes. It is a renault system and the pin is calculated from the eeprom dump.
You can use a bunch of different software for this as well.

PS: The software posted above is the OLD supercode. It is no good for cars 2009 onwards.

If the ecu is locked out, then you will get a reply which says wrong pin.
To unlock the ecu, cycle the key OFF to ON 5 times. You need to go about 1 second in each position.

Then try to program again.

Sounds like you might have a bigger problem than just that though! Sorry!

Hey can anyone tell me if a NIssan with this kind of imm around the aerial has a BCM box somewhere else that has the standard 5 digit number I can convert?

I know that if I HAVE to I can read the TMS chip inside this box... I am just looking for an easier way.

This antenna is from D22 (06/99 until 11/01) or from Y61 (99 until 00) and does not need code 4digits .It is the old NATS4. Pin you need from NATS 5 and after.

This antenna is found on vehicles equipped with NATS4. I think this particular one was founf on the 2003 Nissan Hardbody, which is a ute type nissan (D22) I think from South Africa.

NATS4 is also found on certain submodels of Primera and a couple others I think.

Maybe but post your dump and lets see. mwanwhile, i hope you are not using the wrong Type number to program key.

I don't have the car with me right now so i cannot read the processor in the bcm. I am definately not using the wrong type as i am using consult III to program key and read BCM code which is what i posted, the code is the same code written on the BCM. This algorythm is new for 2009 and 2010 Altima, since my car is late production it probably uses this.
