I would like to share with everyone that MPPS V13 works on Tablets. I have succesfully read and flashed ecus using my tablet with windows 10 in windows xp compatibility mode. Saves me carrying a laptop with me and I feel safe to use my tablet off the battery while flashing. Something I would never do with a laptop. You need a micro to full size usb adapter for your interface.
Its a shame tho that I couldnt get Winols to run on windows 10. Otherwise I could always make a quick map twik on the spot. But downgrading a tablet to windows 7 would most likely enable it :)

l use kess on my tablet without a problem , like you say battery life is hours , but kess is abit different as it sends file to kess unit and unit sends file to ecu so its very safe , for me win10 runs 99% of stuff l put on it and even stuff win7 will not run

I would imagine that if you run it in windows xp service pack3 compatibility mode it should work on any system. I never had any special or modified MPPS. Just normal v13 in compatibility mode and it works fine.

Hi, just came across this. Will mpps work on a laptop with windows 10. I'm guessing if so it would have to be in win XP compatibility mode.

Also I have a Acer android 5.0 tablet, will it work on that or not, I have a micro to USB cable.

Thanks

It has to be a windows tablet Im afraid. But mpps works on windows 10 just fine obviously in compatibility mode like you say.

If I got a windows 8/8.1 tablet, would mpps v13 and opcom work on it, or does it have to be win 7 for it to work.

Thanks

Another question now.

With a windows tablet, will windows 8.1 RT work fine or does it need to be a full windows system?!

Windows RT is mobile OS, like a android or iOS.. can you open any app from your computer on your mobile phone, course you can't... windows rt using ARM platform, windows 10 using x32,x64, lika a windows 7...
On windows rt you see desktop like a windows 8 and you mean "this is Windows" but you are wrong... when people see that they can not use it as a classic windows, many returned devices, it is understood that Microsoft made a mistake as I tried to sell mobileOS (arm) that looks like a classic (x32, x64) OS ... and winRT is discontinued...

or a few words: Do not buy tablet with windows Rt..

Here you have all info.. :)

Ahh that's great, so if I bought a new windows tablet it should be full windows. But I will double check.

Now I know I need full windows system.

Thanks
