Xprog stuck at Device Initialization.

XPROG 5.0 is what I have.

Followed the diagram in the software and supplied 12V power to pin 7 on T1 and pin 26 on T4 and ground on Pin 3 of T1. Does the ground on pin 3 have to be connected to ground on XPROG?

I got Ktag 2.13 and Kessy 2.23 and FGTECH.

KTAG does not show flash st m58bw in the options, only 28F800 which is not this case.

I understand XPROG does not correct checksum, how about FGTECH?

I successful read this using FGTECH.

Now I Have the External Flash and INternal Flash. When I write the External flash onto another ECU of the same number, it updates checksum. When I try to write the internal flash, it states does not support checksum.

Do I need to copy the internal Flash or the external flash with checksum update is sufficient to have the car accept it?

The original ECU has water damage.
