Ok friend thanks , I updated now. So you check that box to block sync, but what to do first , bsi or dash?
Also, do you check box when doing both or?

first do bsi, next do dash.
After doing bsi the mileaged in dash jump to new mileaged already, but you need Always to do the dash too, otherwise it will jumped back later.

When using the block sync option i take it you still need to correct the dash

As per my understanding no need to do dash. Mileage displayed on dash will be corrected after you tick block option and put new value into BSI.
However when the car will go to dealer for BSI software update, block will be disabled and old value will jump back. It is bacause old mileage is still stored in dash.

Right, old mileaged is still in dash, but dash display show mileaged from bsi, but this function only work by Johnson Control BSI.
The software inform you to do "set block bsi-dash" example by C5 , 307

if the BSI is early JC type then tick the block syncro button (if you have the license)
and you dont have to do dash after, mileage bounces to dash auto.

personally i do dash, bsi then dash again, do not cycle keys unless software tells you to.
