sometimes UPA erase by read not just by pressing erase button, he is using my script and my script form is in "MODAL", all button are disable when the script form is showed. so no way to accidentally press the erase button.

in my side UPA cannot read the Strada/Triton it reads but all are FF ...

anyway thanks for the info that there is any chance to corrupt by reading ..

Erase by read sometimes happened when the ground (- side) is loose,only in microwire eeprom

for strada/montero, need to short the xtal when reading in 5V, for 3V reading no need to short

For cluster with big TFT Screen at the center is MCU SPC5604 (Ambiente model)

for cluster with a Speedometer at the center and 2 LCD left & right is 93C86 eeprom, denso algo

I think this dash with MCU SPC/MPC56 series has two version,

Big screen has 5604 and the other one with small screen has 5606 if i am not mistaken

as of now I have not yet tested any tools about this model......
but I think some tools can do it by OBD

can you remove chip 93c86 and read with digiprog - or would upa usb be better option see my image attached is this the SPC 5645S 93c86
