2012 Ford Ranger Tach Not Working

Tach not working on 2012 ranger Diesel engine and dash has not been tampered with at all
Any idea where signal is from ? Injector pump ? Any ideas

Hi, I had the same problem with bt-50 2010, disarm the thought board could be broken engine, the engine was good, I followed the signal from the pump to the ECU, and signal came, then remove the pump pond, and the problem was on the float, this had fallen and had stopped up the score, at least that happened to me.
