PS2 SECTION

I know this is the PS 3 forum, but is there a PS 2 section, My daughter now has a Wii & she does not use the PS2 any more, so I was going to use, but I dont do sing star, so I wanted to know if I can download games & where from? Also does the console need modding or am I wasting my time??????
