Hi,

Very rare problem on Ferrari 599 GTB from 2007

Sometimes for a split second, the cluster seems to do a "reset" while driving

It is NOT a 12V (power) issue, because the little LCD of the gear level has all time back-light

All gauges go to zero,
All the warning lights (led's) goes OUT and then ON.
The only warning light what stays ON is the ENGINE CHECK LIGHT (until the next time you start the engine)
The information LCD also goes OFF and back ON.

The failure appears in hot and in cold situations.

All info and tips are welcome :-)

I will need to drive the car for a few days under extreme seed to test it out...that is #1 tip.:burnout:
#2 tip...just tell the customer to avoid driving the car in hot and cold days.. :02.47-tranquillity:

as first think you can resolder all smd parts, if you still have problem then replace the both ST Flash chips.

But i beleive if you can re-solder all points on pcb, your problem will be solved. Exactly the smd resistors on this type of white pcb`s very common problems (cracked joints)

Ho everybody here.
I’m having the same issue on my 2007 599.
Did you ever solve the problem somehow?
Did you have to resolder everything?
Thanks a lot.

Thank you so much!
I’ll try to see if the same job has to be performed on my dash.
Anyway, it just needed some resoldering onto the white board as shown in the pics, right?

can be recalibrated - 24c16

can be done and powered outside car : 1 gnd / 2x 12V in upper black connector (the one with the lowest number of pins)
