195950kms????

Something like that - I can plug it back in and check on scan tool?

no milleage on this one... you might have a data in scan tool, but it will be off. so yes, plug back ecm and confirm with scan tool that your exact original value is indicated in ecm data list. if it is not the exact one... let's say 165656km, than it is ok.

I had that on a 2007 forester turbo I think... value in ecm but it doesn't match vehicle... and when I read ecm's eeprom, FF FF FF FF FF FF where odometer value should have been, like your dump.
in impreza wrx and sti, usually there is a value to change.

Odometer value in ECM is 131k Kms - so I guess is held in flash? Is the data in this dump immo?

and your car had 190,000km? well, didn't I made my point?
if i understood incorrectly, than tell the EXACT original millage and the new millage you have now.

Yes - so I'm asking where this data is held if not in eeprom dump?

Ori kms were around 190k kms

read this again... and if you still have doubt, record data in ecm (let's say 131 235km) go for a 10km ride and recheck km, it should still be the same 131 235km... make sense now?
why your car have 191km but ecm shows 131k? I had same 131xxx km on my forester.
