speed limiter t5 7h transporter info

l have a friend with a 2014 t5 7h transporter 2.0tdi caab engine with edc17cp20 , l have kess and ktag and l read vcds only lower speed dosnt higher it ,
if the vmax is in the eprom do l need to read that separately or will tricore read eprom or only map ?

Yes, read Tricore mpc (maps), like you want to tune the car, and the vmax info there, post i will remove you the speed limit,
