VW 3D cluster Sw0703

I know there is a file out there for 3D cluster Sw0703 and some guys have it , and you can downgrade Sw0705 and use VVDI , SMOK and etc and do it via OBD.
It will be very nice if someone start sharing this.

We start this forum to help each other NOT TO make money of each other.

If you believe you can downgrade just with the right frf/odx you are wrong.

At the moment only one solution exist, and that solution cant retrivate current immo data

Exe's right, you cannot downgrade using normal FRF method ...
And Maartinj's right, you will loose immo data ... but could be restored if you have the proper tools.

not really , dont know any tools who can read 12 byte CS from KEY
so match cluster again with car ....will need a new KEY's

partially of course. But new transponders are cheap. Other way would be to make it virgin and learn at dealer.

Easy if you have NON Kessy car.
if Car have Kessy (Golf 6 Cabrio 2014-> , jetta 2014->, Scirocco 2014-> etc) - "game" is getting more expensive

I guess Passat will not be problem for big company's to do it this way , as Passat do not have immobilizer in cluster ( Except USA model).

I'm hunting the same solution as you. I've seen that h2deetoo has been searching around forum when he Discovered his solution so it must be out there somewhere. Let me know if you come up with anything

But H2Deetoo is the only one who can program keys on 10xx sw or at least him and some guy in german.

I haven't found a solution by looking some forums. I developed my own software and hardware (for the last year!) to do all I can do at the moment.
I don't own or use any of the known public tools, that's the main reason I can only do VDO Micronas and NEC because I focussed on them only.
I haven't done any work on JC or Visteon for example.

What can you do? I'm interested if you have further options than others? Downgrading to software to a version with known s-key should be fairly easy if you have a version from which you know the key. There is a 0703 version online with known S-key.

Well you got files somewhere , you did not make files.
This is whole point of this thread. Even if person has tool with out files nothing can be done.

Tool is not big of the deal, it can be done with many tools what they can read/write/erase NEC MCU.

No tools can read the NEC as it is protected. And someone must have made the file at first. Someone found a way to dump the NEC content over obd by tricking the cluster into dumping the NEC content. I'm not sure if it was H2Deetoo or someone else

You can not read it but you can write it if you have file, this is what I meant what I mention tool for NEC .

But someone at some point must have done work to dump the original NEC content. And as i mentioned before this could be done by uploading code to the ram dumping the software from the cluster over obd but someone has to write and make that code working

It is possible:

1) erase MCU (lost Keydata)
2) Program dash with old soft
3) Learn MCU

And Read immo data from ecu and learn all.

So really a lot of work

Why not put secondhand dash and adapt this to Ecu again, not such hard work, only just need to make new transponder.

I think this is not worth all that work and money.

I think 0705 is possible to make but 10xx can't be done so far. At least they say so. But maybe smelecom can do it.
