Thanks, on this one now, reading the PIC16F819 in circuit with a Pickit4 and 18pin sioc clip, but each read is different, there is one read every 3-4 times that is stable, seems to show the hours in reverse binary / hex form repeated on 3 lines (first inc decimal place record).

Issue is I cant programme due to the random read errors, did you short out the crystal or any other mods to stabilise?

or programme off circuit?

Does the read above with the simple hour record in reverse over 3 lines seem correct?

Thanks now off the board with the attached dump, can anyone help, the display hours are 1853.4, i'm looking for 900 instead, where is the hour data/checksum?. Thanks

Yep thought that too, but dump seems corrupt, now displays 8.8 then 808 when the engine is started, something not right, do you have a copy of a PIC16F819 dump, or can you send me a copy of the one at the top of this post (I cant access) ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
