To program a key girvtge above car do I need CS bytes and pin like a 2007 passat

In this year it might be ID48 Seat Can chip (TP22) as also precoded by CS. Easiest way for me is to plug-in SBB and check if I can use option 'add key'. If it doesn't work, then need CS precoded key.

supervag doit 100% dont need pin code and cs
or avdi vvdi
but 100% you need pin and cs need precoded key

After 2006.6 in dashboard with micronas transponder must be precode.

Seat just needs a id48 transformed to tp22.
This is different from Audi and VW, after 2006-6.
Transponder in key, in ignition.
Learn by Obd. No CS precode needed.
But you could, if you wanted.

You could use datasmart3+, something tells me, that you might have one.
