Guys I have customer asking for dash upgrade. It's Golf V 2006 Visteon dash 1K0920862J and he want's to upgrade it to 5M0920883 which is NEC 24C64 UDS I think ?? I read a lot about VISTEON (never did this swap before) and the problem is in MAC as I know.
New Dash is IMMO4 and old IMMO3 or IMMO4 ?? New dash uses MAC and ECU in car is 1.6 MPI (I dont have car yet). What is the procedure to write 7 bytes old data to 12bytes system of new dash ?? Regards.

You need to get full MAC from ECU.
But check before if his brake system is capable for the swap. If brake electronics is too old it will not work without swapping.

But exe what is the procedure to write CS bytes from old to new dash?? I write first 6 bytes from old and left second part from new ?? I know that I will have to make new transponders. SMOK will retrieve PIN, CS, Power Class and 1 part of MAC from Visteon ?? I have to read ECU to get full MAC ??

Just copy existing 6 CS bytes, you can fill the rest of immo bytes with custom values (because they are only used with the newly learned transponders).
You need to get MAC from engine ecu as well.
Not sure if PIN is needed as well ...

So when I learn new transponders last 6 bytes gonna change ??

No,you can fill the rest of immo bytes with custom values. They will be used for the transponders, not for the ecu immo
