You can't swap only eeprom in those cars. They are linked to flash. Got to read/write both. Unless you want to use codecart software.
Also most of car spec is in flash so if you have spare cem with different spec ie xenon lights and original is normall you'll have issues.
What is serial number of your cem by the way?
