Hi, I wonder when to use OBD and when to use Tricore boot.
Many times in the list it says I can do both, but thats not true i think.

Please help me, witch ECU:s can use only OBD when both protocols (OBD and tricore) is listed?

I got a purple kess v2 Eu clone.
What EDC17 should that work on with OBD vs Tricore boot?

Don?t believe in everything Kess says it can make... for example Jetta MED17.5.2 (with Tprot10) can?t be done by OBD (ir will write about 8X% and complain and ou end recovering with original file - fans will go crazy in process), DS3 with MED17.4.2 can?t be done by OBD, Passat with MED17.5 fails too... all these I tried with original tool.

By the way, I end up bricking an MED17.5.2 in boot with Kess... it give error about 99% writing, and can?t make recovery (ID with another type of ECU even with original Ktag...
