You can't plug a box designed for satellite into a cable feed. The tuners are completely different. Can't you put up a dish on your new property?
To use cable, you will need a box with a cable tuner. I use a Zgemma H.2H which has both satellite & cable tuners.

There is also a cheaper version of the Zgemma combo called the H2. The only "problem" with that box is that it has an annoying lag when scrolling through channel lists etc. & sometimes there's a 2 or 3 second delay before the box responds to a button press on the remote. It still does what you want, but the H.2H is much more responsive.
The H2 is approx. ?20 cheaper than the H.2H.
