Found this:
Maybe it is only for old model 1998-2000, and US market? Or is it from 2001-2007?
Could someone confirm this.

Volvo Programming a Remote[Volvo XC70]

Here is how to manually reprogram V70 Volvo remotes.
(only if you have a red security system LED in the dash)
1. Make sure all doors, hood, and trunk are closed.
2. Turn the ignition key to position 2 and back to off for 5 times in 10 seconds.
3. Leave it at position 2 after the 5th time.
(The red LED will flash)
4. You will have 15 seconds to press the lock or unlock button on the Remote Fob ONCE only.
5. Turn the key to the off position.
6. Check to see if the remote works.

If not, you will need to have a Volvo dealership do the programming using their Tech tool.
