2012 husaberg (ktm) bike milleage change

hi all

has anyone done a milleage change on a huraberg motorbike
supossedly its the same as a ktm

there is a chip with numbers on it 317LB i think on it
its a small 8 pin chip

there is also a bigger chip on the board
so not sure which to read

ive removed the smal chip and tried to read it as 93c56 but i just get all ffffff

also i think this dash has hour meter
do i need to sort that out too

i removed the small chip and powered up the dash and the kms were still the same
so im thinking its not on the small chip

this bike is same as a ktm 570
has anyone done one of these

You should have there PIC16LF87 or TI MSP430F4132.

ok did some searching
looks like its not as straight forward as the older ones
might just give it back to customer
