If i order new dash from VW (0km) , can make adaptation in car?

before Golf7, i was do instalation brand new dash on golf5 and golf6 , its was vome brand new from VW, but i have only one day to instal in the car, ask me for how many keys, how many kilometers, and do it with original Vcds in 20sec

but never try on golf 7 ? and the dash is cost 580eu from vw, but they tell me only in Vw service can make adaptation online

is it true ? did somebody try it ?

And even the dealers have a chew on putting a new one in with zero miles , mine are useless and still takes 1-2 hours

There are people out there with online ODIS who can code in a new dash other than dealers

Important thing when exchanging a dash...

1 - dash must be same reference number
2 - second hand dashes SW number must be lower than SW4269, otherwise you wont be able to reprogram it with your tool for Golf7...

No tool on the market makes SW higher than SW4269

rumors say it will jump back when dealer updates firmware in dash regardless of dash version (talking about MQB cars), anyone can confirm this?

The Mileage will not jump back. We can do self online coding and we do also update, never I see jump back.

Hi,
We have done Volvo V60 2014 mileage correction:

Did dash with CEM disable syncro,
and made DDM and PDM on table...
Also made ECU in eeprom.

Cruise control and Adaptive cruse / and more are not working.
And CEM i think the problem cause not syncronized.

How should we do these and keep everything working?
CEM still shows the old mileage, cause not syncronized...
Can we maybe make CEM to syncronize again now ? since mileage is corrected everywhere now?

Can we remove CEM and change mileage manually in it maybe?

In what order and how should we make these to not have functions not working after...?

Thanks for your time if u be so kind :)

Best regards,
MYGEL
