Hi guys,

I was wondering if there is any tutorial around for a manual solution for OPEL EDC16C9/C39 to remove the DPF.
I know that Ecusafe, Volta etc is crap I should not mess around with. But there are many Solutions around and I dont
know which one to trust.

Could someone give me an advice for a profound solution that proofed to work good?

cheers!

right now I have only normal flash read with MPPS, I?ve heard that full BDM read would be better for DPF off, is that true?

sounds great, as with VAG I have to reset DPF like I would have changed it with diagtester before flashing the modded file right?

to make things a bit more transparent, I?ve added the unmodded file I?ve read with MPPS:

Opel Astra H 1.9CDTI 100PS / Z19DTL
BOSCH 0281012549
SW 1037 A50294
5519892

As I said, I know that ecusafe nor Volta works well, I would highly appreciate manual OLS solution.

also if I do the mod via 1024kb flash file and not by full bdm read?

Okay, tahnk you, understood. Just to know: why is that the case? Is it like there is some vital data inside the whole BDM read which is of course missing in the normal flash read?
Otherwise, I?ve heard by gossip that these OPEL ecus could be coded(!) to non-dpf like if they left factory without dpf by default. Is that just a rumor?
And could I create an identical "twin" of the ecu with a full BDM read or would I need additional eeprom data regarding immo for example that doesnt come by BDM?
