Seat Cordoba 1999 tdi 24c02(microchip) immo off write protected?!

Hello guys,

I can read the B58253, 24c02(microchip) eeprom in ECU with my skyprog usb programmer. Write back to the eeprom fails. I understand the write protect function with this chip. I soldered pin 7 (wp) to pin 4 (gnd) and write the chip again. Writing is succesful but if i click on read eeprom, i see the same original file is in the eeprom so nothing changed... Someone has a solution? Calculate the login code for key adaption for VCDS?.... Sorry for my bad english.

desolder the eprom . Read and write out of board. And clean eprom pins for read and write..or you can program a new 24C02 .

B58253 is not exactly 24C02 but you can replace it with 24C02, I read/write Bxxxxx eeproms with seeprog2 like a charm
...for example carprog will kill it in first read attempt...

i ordered a new 24c02 eeprom from the internet. I will write the new .bin file on the new eeprom and solder it back. I hope this works
