BMW ISN

Can someone confirm that ISN on this file is 5D3A, located on line 0x0FE140.

This is ME9 ECU from 545 I.

Does anyone has solution to Virgin this ECU.

I try Volta solution but it does not work, when I try to sync DME-CAS , it tells me that ECU was programed to other car , no available free spots .

I am trying to do with out pulling CAS .
If I pull CAS i know you or someone can sync it .

Or is it way to read ISN in CAS with ICOM?

ICOM, AFAIK will not read ISN. AVDI, etc can read this.

ICOM ,AVDI, Maxidas. they all says ECU is not Virgin with Volta solution in flash and eeprom.
Anyway I will read CAS soon.

I don't if IstaP can program virgin ecu...Avdi For sure not...
Also DIS V44 for sure can do it...but you need old BMW head as HW because icom doesn't work with DIS...
Maybe K+Dcan can do it with emulator...

Ispa/P has same functions as DISV44, so it should work.BTW I have try this solution and it did not worked , I fill FFFF in ISN location and other location same as you did , but still was saying not Virgin ECU.

Solution sync with CAS direct in ECU dump worked good.

i have 2005 bmw x5 e53 s3.0d diesel
i read the ews3+ to programme a new key and after saving bin file i accidently wrote the bin file back to the ews
now car wont crank inpa read shows ok for ews with 1 error
can you guide me to resynce and align ews to dde
