Having some problems with a Mk5 Golf R32 ECU. I need to immo off for using in an engine conversion.
ECU is 022906032JQ ME7.1.1
I removed the 95160 and had a bit of trouble reading it - eventually it read and I got an immo off solution and had more trouble writing it. Ended up buying a new Eeprom and holder for my programmer and managed to write the file OK.
Have soldered Eeprom back on the ECU and I have no comms with it. Tried putting the original file I read back on the EEprom and still no comms so I'm guessing my original read was corrupt.
Does anyone have a virgin Eeprom or can anyone tell me if my original read is corrupt.
