i have an escalade 2007 which they retrofit a navaigation unit used , can the tech2 remove the theft lock or what is the rpocedure please

Can anyone help me remove theft lock from this car

Using the TECH2, select DIagnostic, Body & Accessories, Entertainment, Module Setup, Radio, VIN Relearn, and when asked to clear theft information, select yes.
Radio display should change to NO VIN. Turn off key, turn off TECH2, Open the drivers door, and start the vehicle with the key.

I tried this in my tech2 but when I access radio there is no special function and navigation radio is below 2007 has special function but will disconnect

Try it as another car, 2006, Chevrolet, W Body, Monte Carlo LTZ. This just activates the VIN Relearn function in the TECH2, and tells the radio to clear the old VIN, and on the next key cycle learn the VIN of the new vehicle.
