Hi Guys, i have an Audi A3 Sportback 2009
Vin WAUHC2 8P 0 AA127850
Model A3 8P
Engine 1.8 TSI CDAA
6 Manual Gearbox
The car is LHD
No start / stop

A workshop employee, badly connected the wires and died the ECU.
I have no way to access the original data.
The original ECU is an 8P7907115K
417737
I do not get that ECU but I got an ECU instead 8P7907115L
417738
The main difference is that the problem car is Manual Gearbox 6 and the other is a Triptronic 7 Gearbox.
I have in the workshop a similar car running but this has a tiptronic 7 gearbox for testing.
I need to know if the ECUs are compatible and if so, I'll have to do an immo off.
Is it possible?
Can anyone help me with this?
As if it were not problematic, the Customer goes on vacation this Friday with the car.
I appreciate all possible help.
Greetings to all and thank you very much!!!

I can't confirm 100%, but hardware must be the same... if you have experience with solder jobs you can try to change mcu from damaged ecu to new ecu. SAK TC-1767 Infineon.
Other option is open damaged ecu and try to repair it.

Immo off is possible.
You need a tool to read and write the info.
There is sometimes other things on the vehicle, which is not working properly after. When doing it like this.

But later do to it the right way, a decent tool to adapt the new ECU to the vehicle when removing the immo off.

Or:
There is also a chance to let dealer, adapt the new spare part ECU. Other members need to confirm with different part number at the end. But I think it would work out.
Or just order a new ECU at the dealer. And let them adapt it, and no more trouble.

This site can maybe offer one at a cost of credits. (I guess there is also many other sites which can provide this service also).

But also a large chance that some members could have your file in their library.
