Hi,

I have a 2003 B2500 which won't turn over on the key or start, it'll turn over but still not start if I short circuit the starter.

How do I sort out the key/immobiliser issue please?
Thanks Guy

Hi guys
I also have one of these Mazda B2500 with keys lost, the problem is that it wont get into programming mode.Does anyone have a virgin file for this ecu WLE9 with 24c01?
BTW when the key is off the security light is not flicking at all,or is it supposed to stay off when the key is off?

I have the same problem.
Prcedure to key programing (from original service documentation) not work for me.

You must use a factory key to program, you cannot use aftermarket keys for this procedure
1. Cut the mechanical cuts on each new transponder key.
2. Insert the first key and turn the ignition ON and then back to the OFF position 5 times. You must NOT leave the
ignition in the ON or LOCK position for more than 1 second.
3. Turn the key back to ON position and watch the flashing security light on the Dashboard. The light should flash
rapidly, 300 mS ON and 300mS OFF.
4. Within 20 seconds, turn the key to the LOCK position for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the security light should
decrease in flashing to 1.2 seconds between flashes.
When i turn quickly 5 Times to ON and LOCK and turn again to ON - immo lamp ON to 3 sec. and flash error code: ON - ON - pause - ON - ON - pause ... (02 - wrong transponder code).
When key in LOCK position, lamp always OFF (even after 5 minutes).

Whats wrong with this immo in Mazda B2500 year 2002?

test it: open door driver, and insert and remove key 5 times (the key need transponder 8c) no turn on, now remove key and mode programer is ok

No way man.
Insert and remove key - it is procedure for new model Mazda B ( i try it toohttp://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/images/smilies/smile.png )
For my model Mazda B, procedure is with ON and LOCK positions. I pay on Mazda portal for independent workshop, and I get original documentation for this type.
But, this fu&%$#@ procedure not work http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/images/smilies/blue.png
I try with two new keys with new Temic 8C transponders. I do not waste money to buy TMpro2 with adapter to motorola and license to this exotic car.

Why procedures from original documentation does not work in this cars?
