Hi!
Had accident with Skoda ECU EDC16U1 and swapped with ECU from AUDI, EDC16U1, same engine version.
I tried to clone Immo but I messed something up and it is still not working.
Can someone take a look and help me solve it?
Thanks!

You should also change the, swap Eeprom 95320

Why should I do that? Can you please explain?
Is it not compatible or what?
Because, if I do immo off, everything works...
Still I would like to get it working with immo adapted.

You have to do full BDM flash. Only way to clone full 1 to 1.

@yugo45
Do you mean that with BDM I can't clone only immo, but only whole ECU?
Because, I don't want to clone whole old ECU, just immo.
Or after making a cloned immo file, add it to full bdm read file and then write it all together to ECU?

Should I do immo with UPA or similar?

I meant Full BDM , flash eeprom and MPC form old ECU.

But the thing is that I don't want to do full clone.
I just want to transfer immo to new ECU.

Mate, VIN and Immo number are the same as ORI.
Should it be like that?

Yes, I want it to clone, but my car is Skoda.
In clone file is VIN from Audi.
Is that ok?
I will try to write it and report back.
Thanks!

There is one difference between my old ECU and new.
New one have this:
Immo Challenge: 79 DD E0 55
Old one don't have this and maybe this is why immo can't be properly cloned.
How can this be removed?

This is what I was telling you, AUDI and Skoda are not same. They use different protocol , Immo and Software. ECU looks same but that does not mean they will work to each other.
Only way to fix this is to clone the way I told you.
Why you do not want to do this, what is the reason?

i agree with yugo45 but also think is not comptabile ecu for your car

It seems I'll have to do it that way.
And now it is more clear when you write it this way :)
I have full bdm reading from old ECU in .bdmtogo format, but I need it in .dim or similar, that is the reason.
I can extract parts - eeprom, flash and MPC from Winols but I am not sure it will work if I write part by part.?
Is there a way to convert full bdmtogo to dim?
Thanks!

Bdmtogo format is encripted file by Tuner, so if you can extract it eeprom, flash and Mpc for it, you can write it one by one to new ECU , it will work.
But bdmtogo format is secure file with password.

@yugo45
My bdmtogo is not secured with password, I can open it in Winols and extract elements.
I have problem with writting MPC; it says it is wrong size.
I think it is because I don't know how to extract MPC together with configuration file.
Do you know how to do that?

@Pyromaniak
You are on trace of something ;)
Audi ECU is in original condition and my Skoda ECU was tuned way before, but I am not satisfied how job was done.
Unfortunately I don't have .ori files for Skoda as I would like to get it back to stock.
That's why I am trying to get Audi ECU working smoothly.

Unfortunately, no luck mate.

Does anyone know how to extract MPC together with configuration from Winols?
