View Full Version : VW JETTA 2015 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REPLACE

hi, have this 2015 vw jetta instrument cluster that i need to replace. the original Instrument Cluster start the car but there are some damage on it, since there was some wather on it. there is a 24c64 and a renesas UPD70F3425GJA. Does any one have the datasheet to read This renesas? or any way to exchange the instrument cluster using an obd2 tool ?

if sw recognised with some tool like avdi or smook,,,you can transfer immo data from old one to new one...i think jtag from smok can finish job with this nec ,,,,

I don't think that any tool will do it OBD because of SW0806, it's too new.

You also cannot read the NEC (not renesas) beacuse it is protected and no tool can by-pass the protection.

If the part numbers are the same and procesor in old cluster is OK simply swap it over with 24c64.

Yes, you can swap both NEC+24C64 to a donor cluster.

I think that job with transfer immo data will be posible but you must to enter service mode on new cluster by dump.

As said here already, it could be this sw is too new so there won't be any tool which can unlock this cluster...

This cluster was made after 06-2014 and there is no tool on market that can do this besides Factory tool and new cluster.It has still old SW08xx but with new Hash in it.

Simply find same part number cluster and swap NEC MCU and 24c64 eeprom.
